A pond is a complex, extensive and complicated ecosystem, it is crucial for a pond to be cleaned periodically to maintain a well balanced ecosystem & healthy pond. How often a pond is cleaned will depend on many factors such as size, location, fish & plant population etc. When cleaning a pond we set up temporary holding tanks. Our tanks a specialist vats specifically made for holding fish & aquatic life , we have a variety of different size tanks to accommodate different sized ponds. We then transfer the clearer water from the pond to the tank it is important to keep the water as it well balanced & contains micro organisms important to the ponds ecosystem, however in some cases of poor water quality we will change the water if required. We then transfer any fish plants & wildlife to the tanks, we remove & dispose of the silt from the pond, jet wash & clean the pond liner & & waterfalls or water features. We then closely inspect liner for any leaks. The pond is then re filled with all plants fish & wildlife returned to the pond. We will service any pond pumps or equipment, deep clean filters which will also be inspected for any leaks. We will check ultraviolet units & bulbs can be replaced at the price of the bulb.
